Duplicating and Editing Existing Activities

Occasionally, you'll want to modify an existing activity to make it more personalized, add or delete content, or change the activity to better fit your lesson plan.

To edit an activity, click the three dots on the right hand side and choose Copy and Edit.

From there, you can change the activity thumbnail and description, modify screen types and content, and re-name the activity.

In your new version, you'll see that it has added your name to the "Edited by" line and marked as Edited by you.

If you're unable to choose "Copy and Edit", check out our support article for troubleshooting why it's not possible to edit certain activities.

I don't see the option to duplicate an activity. Am I missing something?  Trying to duplicate and edit Card Sort: Linear Systems.  https://teacher.desmos.com/activitybuilder/custom/5798d64583de446662ea8ddd

Can I not create my own activities and card sorts any more? Do I have to duplicate and edit one? I can't seem to find that information anywhere.

Edited to add: Okay, I found that under custom, but I still can't figure out how to create a card sort. I thought I enabled that option, but it doesn't seem to be showing up anywhere.

Anyone else having issues finding this? I'm hoping its something simple I am overlooking!

If you go to teacher.desmos.com/labs, you'll be able to enable the card sort option. When you go to create an activity, you'll then have the option of adding a card sort screen. Let us know if that helps!
