Printing Graphs

For best printing, we recommend using the Google Chrome browser. To print your graph, you'll need to access Desmos in the browser. Unfortunately, printing isn't available on mobile devices. Start by clicking the Share button and choosing Print.

A dialog box will pop up with a preview of the printout. An image of your graph will print on the first page and the expression list will print on the next pages.

If you'd like for the graph image to fill the page, try printing in landscape mode rather than portrait.

You can choose which printer you'd like to use or you can choose Save as PDF to generate a PDF version. The name and url of the graph as well as the date will print on all pages.

*printing is not available on mobile versions

If you are on a Windows computer, you can do this with the Print Screen button. More information on this topic can be found here: http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-in-Microsoft-Windows

If you are on an Apple computer, you can do this by pressing command+shift+4 and selecting the area of your screen you wish to take a screen shot of. This image will be saved to your desktop and you can print it out from there. More info on taking screen shots is here: http://www.apple.com/findouthow/mac/#capturescreen

    Hi Arnav,

If you sign in, you can press the "print" button on the top right of the calculator. This will print out your graph on the first page and equations on the following pages.

I found that the equations would not print in full when I was using IE (the first page of equations would print, but that was only the first 21 of 204 lines). I changed to Chrome and the equations printed perfectly!

Hi there - we don't support printing from the ipad app yet! Try signing into your account in the browser to access print options.

For some reason, the picture on my graph won't show up anymore. When I try to re-add it, it just says it says loading image.

I need to solve this quickly because my project is due soon! Please help!

Is there a way that I can print my graph so that the scaling on the x and y axis is exactly 0.5 centimeters? I got lucky once, but I couldn't recreate the scaling on a different graph for my school project.

Is it possible to print the graph such that the grid comes out to be 1cmx1cm?
